Tara Leigh Patrick professionally known as Carmen Electra was born April 20, 1972 in Ohio. She's an American glamour model, television personality, singer and actress.
After moving to California, she met singer Prince a Minneapolis native, who persuaded her to change her name to Carmen Electra. Soon after, she signed a recording contract with Paisley Park Records,
Prince's company, marking the start of a short-lived rap career, which included one album. Carmen later returned to work for Prince at his Los Angeles nightclub, Glam Slam. She performed there every weekend
with the Erotic City dancers, led by choreographer and director, Jamie King.Carmen later went to co-star on Baywatch as lifeguard, Lani McKenzie and as host of MTV's Singled Out.
